Dún Uladh Concert with Knockmore and Others

What a Night!! Many Thanks to Maggie Maguire, Brendan McAleer and all at Dún Uladh for inviting the Portglenone CCE Junior Trad Group to their final Seisún Summer Show 2015 compered by the magnificent Martin Donohoe. It was one of the best concerts probably we have taken part in and enjoyed in a long time!
After travelling down to Omagh's Dún Uladh Centre thanks to J&M Coaches, on arrival, Maggie Maguire (Dún Uladh's Musical Director) surprised us by asking The Portglenone CCE Junior Musicians, accompanied by John Morrison, Raymond Rankin, Eoghan O'Brien and Kieran Convery to start the concert. So, after a quick rehearsal upstairs, we done just that!!
We were followed by a mix of local talent and recent All Ireland Winners from the recent Fleadh Cheoil 2015 in Sligo and of course some fantastic dancing and fabulous singing by Ciara Fox and a number of other exceptionally talented vocalists.
The second half began with the Newtownbutler and surrounding area Grupaí Cheoil who performed their superb Grupaí Cheoil set piece.
The Knockmore Céilí Band followed with some fantastic Irish Dancers in tow!! Near the end they were joined by all the previous musicians/singers/dancers on stage to complete a tremendous finalé to a spectacular evening of music, song and dance!
