Upcoming Events

03 March 2020

Easter will soon be upon us and we are taking this opportunity to thank you for your support over the past year. As real satisfaction comes from progression, therefore, I would ask you to encourage your child to practice for a few minutes each day including during the holidays.

There are a few dates of upcoming events which you should pencil into your diaries:

  • Mon 16th March - NO music classes on 16th March as the school is closed for St. Patrick’s Day.

  • Sat 4th April 2020 – the Mini Fleadh for children Under 12 years will be held in ‘The Wild Duck Inn’ starting at 12.00 noon. Medals will be presented on the day and the Cup/Trophy winners will be presented at the last class on Monday 6th April. This is always a very enjoyable experience for both children and parents.

  • Mon 6th April 2020 – This will be our last class for this term. It will be held in the Assembly hall of St. Mary’s Primary School. All pupils should attend from 7.00 to 8.30pm.

  • Wed 22nd April – Sun 26th April 2020 – The County Antrim Fleadh will be hosted by the Portglenone CCE branch and will be held in and around Portglenone village.

Fri 24th April 2020 – Co. Antrim Fleadh Concert with ‘The Blackwater Céilí Band’. (Adm £10.00)

Sat 25th April 2020 – Fleadh Competitions will be held in St. Mary’s Primary School, Portglenone. Competitions begin with the Under 10 Tin Whistle at 10.00am.

We would like to wish all our members who intend to enter the Fleadh the very best of luck.
