RÉ
"Ré” are a traditional Irish music group that has toured the world over the past three years. Ré, an Irish word, which means 'era' or 'moon' are a creation of Liam Ó Maonlai and Michael Keegan-Dolan and started out as a theatre piece called Rian. The two men have aligned their creative impulses with those of Seán Ó Riada. Liam Ó Maonlai has been joined by musicians Cormac Begley, Eithne Ní Chatháin, Peter O Toole and Maitiú Ó Casaide. The resulting music is a set of songs and tunes gathered from their collective memory, the group have never stopped tempering their craft; learning and sharing new and old tunes and songs. This promises to be a special evening of music and song. Tickets are available on www.dunuladh.ie priced £15.
